Position: Geologist Location: Grand Junction or Golden, Colorado Responsibilities: Field geologist to develop geologic models, manage drilling operations, conduct resource estimations, perform lithological and structural core logging, and interpret surface mapping and geologic data. Requirements: Minimum qualifications are a BS or MS in Geology or Geological Engineering with 3-5 years of related experience. Experience in resource estimation and field experience in core logging and logging is required. Ability to manage data in computerized systems required. Position: Senior Mining Engineer Location: Grand Junction or Golden, Colorado Responsibilities: As a member of a team of professionals, apply engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, to various projects in support of clients in the mineral and energy industries. Conceptualize and create preliminary draft engineering illustrations. Requirements: Minimum qualifications are a BS degree in Mining, Geotechnical, or Civil Engineering, plus 5 years of experience serving the mining or underground civil construction industries. Professional Engineering (PE) certification preferred. MSHA trained/certified. An MS degree in a related field or additional years of experience would be considered a plus. Position: Rock Mechanics Technician Location: Grand Junction, Colorado Responsibilities: Prepare rock samples from core using power diamond saw and other machinery; perform laboratory rock mechanical properties testing; and assist in field projects, including surface and underground drilling. Requirements: High school diploma plus 3 years related experience. Knowledge of operation of power tools, acceptable driving record, MSHA 40-hr underground certification, and ability to lift 100 pounds.
