Highwall Mine Design, Rock Testing, and Longwall Prefeasibility Study
AAI has performed a variety of services for Colowyo, including highwall mine design, underground prefeasibility, and rock mechanics core testing in conjunction with a major drilling program. Using AAI-developed guidelines, Colowyo has successfully performed highwall mining in several areas of the mine, including the mining of multiple seams in the highwall.
